The Day of Memorial of an Awakening Blast
The Resurrection is critical to trust in Elohim. It is the power of Resurrection that distinguishes true faith in the Creator and in His Son Messiah Yeshua from every other religion. Avraham is the father of all who trust in the Elohim of the Bible and in His Son. Avraham was a Tzadik, a Righteous One, because he TRUSTED Elohim. The apogee of his demonstration of trust was The Akida Yitz’khak [The Binding of Isaac]. Avraham had enjoyed his son Yitz’khak for quite a number of years, to the point that his soul was knit to that of Yitz’khak, and he loved him as he loved his own soul. Abba tested Avraham, but because Abba knew his heart, it was more of a ‘proof’ for us than a ‘test’ for him. Avraham believed that יהוה would provide a LAMB. Here, he is looking forward and seeing the Pesakh Lamb, Messiah Yeshua. What was provided that day was a ram! But, because Avraham trusted in the promise of Elohim, which was very plain, that he would be the father of many peoples, he knew that somehow יהוה would restore life to Yitz’khak. He knew he HAD to. Avraham already believed in RESURRECTION, that Abba was not only capable, but also willing to raise Yitz’khak from the dead, to fulfill His promise.
On that day, it is said that Avraham created two shofars. And the shofar has long been a symbol of resurrection. In Yisra’el, Avraham’s two shofars are called the First Shofar and the Last Shofar. Since antiquity, the First Shofar has been associated with Shavuot [what most know as ‘Pentecost’]. The Last Shofar is associated with Yom Teruah [what most know as Rosh HaShannah]. A ‘teruah’ is a BLAST, OR, a SHOUT. Shofars are known in scripture to ‘shout,’ and in Yisra’el, when the shofar is blown, on any occasion, the people also shout. Yosef’s grave in Yisra’el had a shofar carved on the grave stone, symbolic of his hope in rising from the dead.
If we do not trust that Messiah Yeshua rose from the dead, we do not actually have faith! We have a religion. If a person does not believe that Yeshua, a HUMAN BEING, who instead of having the sin nature had the divine, perfect NATURE of Elohim within Him, died on a tree in innocence, and was dead for three days, and then was raised from the dead by His Almighty Father, then that person is lost in his sin, even IF he says he ‘believes in jesus.’ Yeshua was not just a prophet. He was not in a coma, He did not come back as a ghost, or an apparition, or any of the like. He came back as a MAN having been RAISED FROM THE DEAD. And because a few Jews trusted in that, they received the Power of the Ruakh HaKodesh at the sound of the First Shofar on Shavuot.
Sha’ul, after telling us that the Resurrection is the cornerstone of our hope, said that if Messiah is not raised from the dead in His human body, then we have NO HOPE, and are to be pitied more than all other men. Then, he says, “Let me show you a ‘sod,’ a ‘mystery.’
51Behold, I tell you a sod [mystery]: we shall not all die, but we shall all be changed, 52in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the LAST SHOFAR; for the shofar shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, “Death is swallowed up in victory. 55O death, where is your sting? O Sheol, where is your victory?”
Later he teaches:
13Now I want you to know, my brethren, that you should not grieve over those who are dead, as those do who have no hope. 14For if we believe that Yeshua DIED AND ROSE AGAIN, even so those who have died in Yeshua, Elohim will bring with Him. 15For this we say to you by the very word of Adoneinu, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of Adoneinu shall not precede those who are dead. 16For Adoneinu Himself shall descend from heaven with a SHOUT and the voice of the Chief Messenger and with the SHOFAR of Elohim; and those who died in Mashiakh will rise first. 17Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet Adoneinu in the air; and so shall we ever be with Adoneinu. 18Therefore comfort one another, with these words.
These two passages are clearly discussing the same moment. So, Yom Teruah, the ‘Day that No Man Knows’ in ancient Judaism, is approaching fast. Right now the khodesh is ‘unseen;’ soon, we will see the khodesh, and the shofar will be blown! The Seventh Khodesh, or the 7th crescent moon, is the ONLY MOON for which we are specifically commanded in Torah to blow the shofar: YOM TERUAH! It is the LAST SHOFAR, blown at the last moment of the year for tracking time and prophecy, to usher in the first moment of the New Year, Rosh HaShannah.
This day is also known as Yom HaDin, or the Day of Judgment. I won’t take time to elaborate about that, but just know that the Tzadikim are to do exactly what Sha’ul said, ‘comfort one other with these words,’ the words about the coming of Adoneinu at the Last Shofar, and the resurrection of the dead occuring on that day. We will know 09/10/18 in the evening whether or not this day will have started [Biblical days start in the evening]. If it is seen, the first day of the New Year will start on the evening of the 10th, and we will assemble on the 11th. If not, that first day won’t start until the 11th, and we will assemble on the 12th. This is why it is the ‘day that no man knows.’ We are commanded to hear the VOICE of the Shofar, the voice that called Yokhanan quickly up to heaven to see what would happen at that future moment in time [Rev 4]. We are told “Blessed are those who know the sound of the Shofar.” Come and hear the Shofar on Yom Teruah! Learn how to prepare for the Day of His Coming, the Day of His WRATH. It is fast approaching! If not this year….?
